Weapon Finishing Session

Ok, I may do a during the week weapon FINISHING session next week. This weekend I'm booked solid and I would like to get these weapons finished.

I will help those that bring material to finish their weapons with covers but I will not being doing covers myself.

Wed after practice or friday after 5. Hit me up here or through text if you need to finish your weapon.

Indeed! The card guys in alice in wonderland could only be killed by 2D stakes through their 2D hearts.

I'm going to be amazed and thrilled if no one responds and I get free days to myself. Woo!

Me and Dorothy need to build weapons. I can have money together by the end of the week to buy the materials I just need to know what to get and where to get it (obviously PVC piping at home depot) but where is the best place to get foam and material for covering?

Camping foam from wal-mart is generally what we use for our weapons. Generally it is found in the camping section on the bottom shelf in a big blue roll and costs about 6$.

Material from covering can bought at any crafts store that sells cloth. JoAnne's, Michaels, Wal-mart, and Goodwill all have material from off the top of my head.

Get the 1/2" thick walled PVC at Lowe's (Home Depot is more expensive) As far as foam, you should go to Wal Mart and in the camping section you should look for Ozark Trail blue camp pad (It's $6.50 and it has the same thickness all around, don't get the one that is has uneven thickness). For fabric, you can just go to Jo-ann's or any other place you can think of where you can get fabric. Try to get a more durable fabric, and not a kind that's really thin and see-through/prone to ripping. For the adhesive, you'll want something called DAP. It's a liquid contact cement that comes in a can, you can find it at Wal Mart near the duct tape/paint section for half the price of what you'd pay for it at Lowe's/Home Depot. And of course, you'll want duct tape and athletic tape, both of which you can get at Wal Mart the cheapest.

I'm planning on going, so sign me up! Got two shamefully unfinished weapons sitting here disappointingly.

I have the swords done and have made cloth covers...is there any way I can acquire tape to finish the last bit without having to go to a 2 hour session?
