Gabriel's Tale

I shall tell you my story.
My people are found at the peaks of the snowy mountains. They are a simple village with simple people. My ancestors were born when the Great Fenris' blood touched the ground. They were fierce fighters, that used no forged weapons. When your father is a God, who needs steel. As time passed, my ancestors took wives. These wives bore children to them and these children bore children, families of their own. They taught their children to fight and hunt like wolves. There was no prey they could not take down. My ancestors called themselves Fenrir, meaning "Children of Fenris". One day Great Fenris was chained for acting his nature and locked away in the mountains. My ancestors searched for ways to free Great Fenris. Eventually they gave up the search and settled outside the cave to Great Fenris. With nothing to do but wait, Fenris begain to sleep and dream of the day he is freed. Each breathe Fenris let out turned the mountains colder and colder. My ancestors could not practice their fighting and had to focus more on hunting as the cold made food scarce. These days my people are only a shadow of their former selves. I'm the first to venture out, the first one to brave the world. Trained by Thomorian fighters, I will not quit until I find the path meant for my people. The world will know Gabriel of the Fenrir tribe for I can feel Fenris calling.

Aye, he's a fierce one, that Gabriel! Had to teach the whelp which end of the pointy thing to hold, but he swings it like he means it! Careful with that one.

Re: Gabriel's Tale

With the King's permission, I've read some of the tales of Thomoria and it's people. I discovered some interesting knowledge. I've spoken to some of Thomorian's lore keepers about this knowledge I've discovered. It seems that my village and the peoples of Thomoria share a common ancestor. I might not be as big as the average Thomorian, but my fighting spirit equals theirs and I'm no less fierce.
